Chemawawin

Chemawawin is a First Nations community organisation with a rich cultural heritage and an active events and leadership programme. The website needed to reflect the community's identity — warm, welcoming, and culturally respectful — while being practical for residents, visitors, and government stakeholders to navigate.

We designed a community-focused website with sections for events, leadership profiles, community news, and a homepage that communicates the organisation's values and ongoing work. The design uses photography and colour choices that reflect the community's surroundings and spirit.

Accessibility was a priority throughout — clear typography, sufficient contrast ratios, and a simple navigation structure ensure the site works well for all members of the community regardless of technical familiarity.
